Prometheus Officially Rated R!

20th Century Fox has now officially stated that Prometheus is Rated R! Collider managed to confirm it with them after the ticket stub story came out this morning.

Steve here. 20th Century Fox has confirmed Prometheus will be rated R for “sci-fi violence including some intense images, and brief language.”



Definitely good news and a little surprising. I was sure they’d make it PG13 friendly. I assume this means Prometheus will be rated a 15 here in the UK. Thanks to Darkoo for the tip.
